I present to you my Zodiac Butterflies Collection

Hello! I've been pretty busy creating a lot of new content, which you can already discover on Society6, Redbubble and other print-on-demand sites, but what I'm most happy and proud of is this collection of zodiac sign art prints.

For quite some time I had the illusion of creating something like this, but first I wanted to study a little, so I read some astrology books, astral charts, archetypes and symbology, even a little tarot. I analyzed my own birth chart and paid for a reading with a professional astrologer, all to understand in depth this topic that many people tend to think is very superficial, but it is not at all.

I learned the basics, I wouldn't consider myself an astrologer, because that's a career. Yes, as you read it, it is studied for several years, it is not a matter of reading a few books. But for my purposes, which was to create a collection inspired by the signs, it was enough.

The first thing I wanted was to familiarize myself with the archetypes of each sign, their personality in broad strokes, understand how it affects having the moon, the sun and the ascendant in each sign. The usual thing is that we refer to our signs, alluding to the place where the sun was positioned at the time of our birth, that is, what most of us are familiar with is the sun sign. But we can also have the moon in a different sign, the ascendant in another, and thus each sign has a place within us (but that is already wanting to cover too much).

For example, my ascendant is in the Sign of Cancer, which is why my family is so important, but my Sun is in Libra, which makes me a person who always seeks balance and loves beautiful things and, yes, you guessed it. , the art. My moon is in Aries, which is the opposite sign of my Sun, so that always makes me struggle between taking care of others and giving myself my space. And very especially, Aries always invites me to be on the move, because Aries never stops. The moon is our emotional part and the only way for me to feel calm is by acting, I'm not the one who sits and waits for things to happen, I go after them.

Anyway, it wasn't to talk about me, but to show you a small part of a very deep self-knowledge tool. So, for my project, by being clear about these deeper personality archetypes by sign, I did my own research about the colors, flowers, planets, and elements that each sign represents, and with that information, I began to create.

It occurred to me that the theme would be Butterflies, because they represent transformation, evolution and growth. See The Zodiac Butterflies Collection.

I then worked on the appearance of these butterflies so that each one best represented the archetypes and personalities of each sign. And I created the elements that would accompany each butterfly to create a magical and dreamy composition that would represent each sign with the greatest fidelity.

Thus, this has been one of my collections that has demanded more study on my part, but also the one that has given me the most satisfaction to create so far. It was a process of several months in which creativity came and went, but in the end I managed to complete it and today I want to present it formally here.
